Students of Third Year, studying in Bachelor of Interior Design at IDPT, accompanied by a faculty team, had the opportunity to visit Nilaya Anthology and Ar. Rooshad Shroff's Gallery in Mumbai.
Nilaya Anthology, spread across 1,00,000 sq. ft., is the culmination of Asian Paints' long-term vision to redefine luxury home décor, curated in line with contemporary design trends. Designed by renowned architect Rooshad Shroff, it is conceptually an umbrella brand for everything a space might need — from a vintage art piece to unique bathware, to an elite setup for home spaces — all crafted with rarity and exclusivity. The place also stands as an international design destination, conceptualized as a retail space.
The team also visited Ar. Rooshad Shroff's studio and gallery, an established practice since 2011 spanning across wide design spectrum of architecture, interiors, and bespoke furniture, with a special focus on artisanry and high-end luxury.
It was an enriching experience to meet and interact with both the teams at Nilaya Anthology and Rooshad Shroff Studio, revealing the endless scope of art and design practices. These visits shall help our students in understanding art appreciation, creative thinking, design expressions as well as exclusive spatial experiences.
